The
Miles Historical Village was created lovingly in the first 38 years almost entirely
due to the overwhelming support of volunteers within the community.
In more recent times volunteers still continue to play a vital role in
the Villages success and achievements. 2008
saw the beginning of a reconnection with community and the early development of
the Volunteer Program “The Village People”.
The program gained momentum in 2009 with further development in creating
specific areas of interest:
