TICKETS & TOURS

The Village is the kind of place you think you’ll look through in 2 hours, but 4 hours later you’re still captivated by the incredible detail and stories that each building has to offer. Most people take a break and head down our real main street for coffee or brunch, returning to spend the afternoon exploring the museum at leisure. And if one day isn’t enough, your ticket is valid for the next day as well. Now that’s country hospitality!

GROUP BOOKING ENQUIRY

We welcome groups to learn & explore...

From 5 years old to 95, there is something to captivate any age group at the Miles Historical Village Museum.

Kids love climbing into our genuine turn-of-the-century cars and tractors or jumping into the drivers seat of the Steam Train i1920s era locomotive. Older generations find themselves reminiscing over their own childhood antics in the old school house where slates and chalk line the desks, or recalling the hardships of life before running water and electricity in the 1890s slab hut.

There’s plenty for students to discover, with Australia’s largest lapidary display featuring petrified wood, geodes and fossils, an exhibit dedicated to the ANZACs, Queensland's largest collection of shells (you read that right!) and a 500 year old bible.

Private tours and group discounts can be arranged for groups of 10 or more. We can also arrange catering and have held hundreds of events so we are well versed at making you feel at home. Get in touch today!
