On Saturday 12th September, the Miles Historical Village Museum will host activities to celebrate its 55th Anniversary.


Step back in time and help celebrate 55 remarkable years of preserving our region’s stories and treasures. Bring the whole family for a lively day packed with games, hands‑on experiences, fascinating demonstrations, and the magic of seeing the Village burst into life.


Join us as we honour the visionary committee who began this amazing journey back on 18 September 1971—and be part of the history they imagined.

RED ROSE CAFE

CWA - showcasing crafts: Embroidery, Tatting, Cross Stitch, Wool Spinning


Indigenous workshop - Basket weaving/Bush spices and remedies


Australian Numismatic Company - History of Australian money


Vintage Games - Old fashioned fun for kids and adults


 Quart Pot Boil competition

Children's Activities - Egg and spoon race, sack race, 3 legged race




CWA Bake Off - Anzac Biscuits, Boiled Fruit Cake, Buderim Ginger Slice

Join in the fun and bring in your homemade baked goods to be judged by our local CWA ladies - original CWA recipe to be followed (contact us for the recipes).


Best Dressed Male / Best Dressed Female

Help us create an authentic, old world atmosphere - you are invited to come dressed in vintage costume.  While looking fabulous make sure you enter our Best Dressed competition.
